I have a problem with mosquitoes. Seriously, I can’t handle little monsters. A mosquito bite spans two to three inches, so you can imagine I try to help every mosquito I’ve read or heard about.

Last weekend my boss escorted us all to his cabin in the mountains.

I was hesitant to join the hot tub because of the dreaded mountain mosquito. He said he installed some “skater-chaser-lights” and I would be fine. To my surprise, I encountered TIKIbrand Lights.

These are really beautiful lights – as soon as I entered the area, the lights were hung in an L-formation in the pine trees. The trees already had little twinkling lights, starting from the bases to the branches all around the tree trunks (I’d say maybe eight feet up on each tree).

The lights were then suspended in U-swags between these trees surrounding the hot tub. Talk about the atmosphere – stunning.

So, COVID – get lost! I am looking forward to making my outdoor space more inviting and with some people with these lights.

I live in an urban setting and think these lights will do the trick to warm up the feel of the deck. Plus, the light string is a generous 36-foot (36 inches – not 36 feet), which makes a lot of sense to me—I can wind the light up or wind them around the deck railing—which adds a softer feel and feel. is more romantic.

I can even start reading on deck like I used to.

After seeing how great these lights were last weekend, I know I can just flip the switch, and 15 minutes later, the mosquito repellent will be there.
